CentraLIVF’s Approach to Egg Donation
As we strive for the success of our patients, we show our commitment by providing a guarantee for embryos. By ensuring a minimum number of embryos, we aim to offer reassurance and peace of mind throughout the entire process.
CentraLIVF guarantees the provision of a specific number of embryos from the selected program. These embryos are carefully assessed and graded according to the SART grading system to ensure their suitability for transfer, categorised as ‘good’ or ‘fair.’
If the number of embryos created from the donor eggs is less than the guaranteed for the chosen program, but the transferred embryo leads to a clinical pregnancy (confirmed at eight weeks), CentraLIVF considers its commitment fulfilled.
However, if the number of embryos created falls short of the guaranteed amount, and no clinical pregnancy results from the embryo transfer, CentraLIVF will provide additional oocytes to fulfil our original commitment.*
Importantly, this will be done at no additional cost to the recipient, except for the shipping cost. In other words, the recipient will not incur any replacement expenses.
Terms and conditions apply. All CentraLIVF guarantees are subject to “normal” semen analysis as per WHO parameters. Cases requiring the use of testicular or epididymal sperm are not eligible for embryos guarantee ( e.g. MESA, TESE, TESA, or PESA.)
Our Well-Defined Egg Donation Process
The process at CentraLIVF starts with a consultation for the recipient at their chosen clinic, after which they register on the CentraLIVF portal. The next step involves the matching and selection of a suitable donor. Once the egg donor is chosen, donor eggs will be allocated after the initial payment. It’s worth noting that some donors will still be in cycle or pending egg collection cycle.
The recipient confirms the donor choice by making a deposit payment, after which the donor eggs are officially allocated to them. CentraLIVF will start preparing for shipment to the treating clinic. After the frozen donor eggs are delivered, treatment proceeds at the clinic in Australia with fertilisation of the donor eggs and embryo transfer.
After about 2 weeks a pregnancy test is conducted. If the test result is positive, the recipient can celebrate the good news. However, if the results are negative, it is not the end of the road. If there are frozen embryos still available, the recipient can immediately initiate another cycle for a new chance at conception.
